The WWSC crewing scheme is available for individuals new to our sport and for experienced sailors.
How do I start Crewing?
There are two ways to engage with the WWSC crewing program:
- You can contact the WWSC and we will add your details to the Crewing Register ( Which is only visible to WWSC Members ).
- Come down to the Club on race days – we recommend 2 hours before the start. Information on the Club’s program can be found here. Once at the Club you can approach skippers directly, however any member will be able to help and point to a possible crewing opportunity.
We welcome all sailors, whether new or experienced and look forward to you joining us at the WWSC.
‘SailPass’ Temporary Membership
Adult or Junior (U18) 'SailPass' can participate in up to three events in a season, sailing a club boat, crewing with a sailing club member or your own craft. The cost is $10 for Adults and $5 for Juniors per event. By acquiring a ‘SailPass’, participants will meet the requirements of AS Prescription to Racing Rule 46. An AS ‘SailPass’ will also provide racing participants with (AS Personal Insurance Cover), for the day/s that they are registered.
